Can I also assign Comics of the Day?

Sure. The default space between two comics is 7 days, but you can use anything you want (even though you can only use one comic per day). On the Add Comic-page just enter the date where you want to have the comic, it doesn't matter if the previous one was 30 days or only 1 day ago.
